Sorry I haven't updated lately. They are 33's. I updated my vehicle listing, I need to stop selling and buying so much!

It should just be swapping 2 of the 3 wires. if I had to guess I'd say the outside two in the connector.

This is the ADD kit. I plan to check the height in a few weeks. May pull the bars back out for new rubber boots as well. Here are a couple shots from the KAT.

Hah so at some point, that truck WAS really for sale.

There are STILL scam ads for that truck scattered around the country.

Yeah I flag every one of those adds I can. Ironically I didn't buy it off CL either.

Figured I'd make a thread as I'm finally getting into modifying my Montero. Hear are a few pictures of along the way...

This is the day I brought it home (about a year and a half ago). Found it one owner, original southern truck. Had 160k on it at the time.

I immediately parked it and took out the carpet, it was horrible Looked to have coffee stains in it. Even after pressure washing it I had to do something more. So I bought some SEM carpet spray, its kind of a dye, sort of a coating. I was please with the results, although the color I bought wasn't perfect.

While it was all apart on the inside I replaced all the brake rotor and pads. Sourced a set of stock wheels off another project I had. It was starting to look like a semi-respectable driver again.

I drove it for about a year like that, then one day I just couldn't stand the running boards any longer.

After seeing some post on FB, I decided to upgrade the reverse lights. It's like another sun back there now!

That is all for now. Next is installing an ADD 2 inch lift, just awaiting the rest of the parts! :)

Time to stick my nose in, Many of you knew me as Old Colt which I have used for many years on 30+ forums covering Cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and aircraft.
More recently I answer to CharlieN since I am actually Charlie North.
I am starting to get back to being creative and soon will be creating something interesting that probably no one else would want.

I truly would like to thank the gang I got to know at the Wire for building this forum for us to play on.

Good to see you here Charlie! Hopefully the weather will allow you to get back into the shop soon! :)

I really like what you've done with front bumper. Makes me think I may have to copy you. But not exactly of course! :)

I'm Nate, long time Mitsu guy. DSM's, CSM's, Montero's and RWD 70's Mitsu's are my thing. I'm Natedog on all the forums... I'm looking forward to getting my Montero geared up to get into the great outdoors.
