My Gen 1 project aka Overkill
« on: April 25, 2017, 10:04:55 PM »
I recently chatted with a friend about the potential for a unique mod to my rig. He asked why I thought it was necessary and I realized there was no good reason for it - I've just run out of things to do to my rig. I mean, really? I'm sure there is still more little stuff I could do but it's dialed in just right  for me. Well, it actually ended up  a bit beyond my original intention, but better parts kept surfacing and I'm a freak for improvements I guess. The Gen 1 is already ludicrously capable as it sits bone stock but I couldn't leave well enough alone. Thanks for the help - you know who you are.

Here's a list of the mods to date. I'm sure I've overlooked or forgotten a couple things but this should be most of it.

Talk about a nicely appointed vehicle!!!!
Very impressive, wish I had access to the parts and the time to do some of  these upgrades!!

Quick question: what year gen 2  torsion bars did you use?
I've got some gen 2 torsion bars that are too long, I tried fitting them but no luck.

Thanks!
Dave
1989 LWB Monty
Gen 2 rear, etc.
Gen 2 UCA's
Dual bouncies
