I wheeled every weekend for about a month after that. Someone during that time, I got started on a front bumper. Got a pic from a friend of mine, one of my favorite shots of any of my vehicles from that month. Love the Mitsu 3 wheeling!!! I was giving the LSD hell up that hill.

I saw a Toyota with a home made snorkel, mostly tucked under the fender. I liked the look. Headed over to a buddies muffler shop.

Relocated the power steering reservoir, closed up the original hole for the air intake. Since then, I ordered a mandrel bent 3" piece of exhaust tubing, and replaced the two bends made in the  3" tubing by the exhaust bender. A $9 EBay snorkel topper, and it was ready for fording.

Sometime during all that, got the front bumper and  sliders done. Threw on the 35's about this time. It was coming along pretty well.

About that time, Son #1 got back from his 3rd tour in Afghanistan. He needed a vehicle. So I drove it up to Ft. Campbell, KY, to my first batch of weather in 20+ years. Woke up to it covered in ice.

He's pretty happy there,  no a bad beater for a couple months.

Fort Campbell FTW. Spent many days there as a child when my grandmother went to the clinic there roughly 20 years ago lol.

After he got settled and I got him his 88 up to him. This was taken a few months later when he came down to visit for the summer.

So, in no particular order I'm going post up things I've done to The Ram, starting with the latest. Noticing the paint on the roof was looking pretty ragged , and the tree branch I rolled into had dented the roof, I decided to give the white roof thing a try.

Didn't really care for that. It was just..too white. So I hit it with silver to match the hood scoop. Much better.
