Excellent looking rig!!  How many miles on it? Also what is the discolored area around the fuel filler door? Looks like tape, maybe?

Good day, sir

Mileage is 138,206 presently. The discoloration is left over tape or something the previous owner (lady) had on it to keep the fuel door shut. That's a guess on my part. The door does not pop open and still works.
This rig has been used 3 times off road since I built it and now the wife has turned it into a "grocery getter" the last two years.  Sad but no time to go off roading so she will have to drive her pretty dodge hemi to get groceries soon.
Let me know if you have more questions and will respond as soon as I am able.
Thanks for looking.

Jeff

Fuel door not wanting to pop open is a stretched cable- it takes 2 minutes to fix. Add a cable stop to either end and that will be enough to take up the slack, they are a few dollars at NAPA for an assortment. OR you could install a clamp on round fishing weight at the door end, that'll solve the issue too.

Thanks for joining the forum Pops! sad to see you selling this beast but I know how it is.

Do you feel the tape, or residue that is there will come off, or is the paint just discolored there permanently?

Just curious. How is everything else...what maintenance is out due for? Upgraded crank bolt, TB WP, does it leak, VSS? I am in Ga but this is something I would love to have.

Daily driver, with no problems. I'll put it for a new "tune up" etc in the next few days. Then probably park it if there is enough interest.

Oh yeah I forgot to ask. Any pics of the front bumper, possibly underneath the rig, and do you have the third row seats, or are they gone?

I can help with some of the questions, since my brother and I did most of the work.

Timing belt and all pulleys and tensioners, water pump, valve stem seals, rear cam seals, and updated crank bolt have all been done, but I can't remember what mileage it was done at. My guess is 15K ago given it doesn't get driven much. Also has a new crank timing gear, as the original was pretty much welded to the crank snout, and I had to cut it in half to get it off. Front of the crank was not harmed during the process, and anti-seize between the gear and the crank snout to keep it from happening again.

Any other questions, let me know. Thanks!

No third row seats. No need for them so I gave them away.

Photos that seem to have disappeared. Since the original post, New alternator, new battery, full tune up with new plugs, wires etc. Two new front shocks and a new throttle positioning sensor was done. Ran fine but I didn't like the idle so I put it in a shop to have it looked at.
