Siberian engine mounts and trans mounts
« on: August 17, 2017, 07:55:31 PM »
Is there any plans to come up with Siberian mounts for the engine mounts and trans mounts?

Great question. Aren't they also working on differential mounts, or has that been worked out?

When I last talked to Toasty about the transmission mounts...they are really close to having them available. I believe the mounts aren't specifically for the trans..but will work for the trans mount. I think he has a prototype mount with the bushings installed already.

I'd be much excited for these.  Sure, i could just put in fresh OEM, but where's the fun in that?

I was very pleased with the results of putting Daystar poly engine/trans mounts in my last XJs.  The slight increase in NVH is worth the more solid feels.

These mounts are squishy so they they shouldn't make a noticeable noise difference, I have all the mounts figured out but we bought all that Siberian had so they have to make more before we'll list them. I'll do a little write up how to make them work.

Another one is that rollover mount, or torque mount, whatever it's called on the transfer case.

Roll stopper mount for a gen 1? Bolts to the side of the transfer case?

Yes, that is exactly the mount I'm talking about.
