I am curious just what the build spec for South America is since they have a factory down there and if that affects the parts selection. But since Mitsubishi discontinued production of the V5MT1 a decade ago then I expect the Asian gearbox would be in those vehicles.
I wish I could find a way to read the text in my forum backups from the outdated site. The guy who found the information bout his bellhousing in AUS and had received it last spring before we lost all the Forumcircle sites. So I would say most any Assies should have access to the info.
If I recall when I had all the ASA docs on my computer I generally used the south Asian parts books the most followed by European.
The South Asian covered the NZ and AUS market vehicles.

I also just realized I can swap the main hard drive in this computer and run the old XP drive that has all that info. It will be a few hours till I get back from an uptown trip depending on how hard it is snowing out, it is still dark out so I have not looked outside yet.

Here are some numbers,
K97W which has a 2.8 diesel,
Bell, MR165076
Tcase adapter, MB896833

KH8W which has a 3.2 DiD
Bell, 2501A054
Tcase adapter, 2501A063

V77W with 3.8L
Bell MN171143

V45W, Various V6
Bell, MR165075

These numbers are from Brazil and EU.
Mexican vehicles seem to be automatics, probably sourced from US

I can get more Tcase adapter numbers but I expect they are not just what we need for these swaps since shaft splines and such are different.
Back a decade ago when I was building the 3.8 DOHC for my SR and importer in Miami had two of these Asian gearboxes with Tcases, complete. I wish I understood what I was looking at cause I would have bought them.
