GEN 1 tank tuck
« on: January 25, 2018, 03:10:31 PM »
Ok, so the rear bumper is off and I wanted to do a “tank tuck” as I did a 2” body lift.  Although to tuck the tank I am hitting the rear frame cross member, if I move the tank forward to miss the cross member, I am up against the pan hard bar.

So, for this that have done this, do you cut and move the frame cross member to do the tank tuck, or just raise the 3/4” - 1” and call it done?

Thanks,

OC

Been so long since I did one, I think it's pretty straightforward on the LWB. Try the tank rear flange over the top of the rear crossmember.
