3rd Gen CAD delete

I am working with a 2002 LTD driveline. I want to delete the CAD. I know in the past there were parts from a Montero Sport used in a Gen 2. How about in a Gen 3 though.
Push comes to shove I will just remove the vacuum system and lock the axle to remain engaged.
My reason is this will have a limited slip installed.
This has the 5 speed auto such that I am working with the 4.30 gears.

As for the delete you might be able to do the same old thing with the Sport AWD axle but I don't think anyone has done it yet. If the width it the same you stand a good chance. Keep us posted, how have you been?

Life has been pretty crappy for awhile, I have done very little online for the past 8 months and have not even been on the Colt site. I do need to get ma AZZ over there.

I have not measured the width yet of the center part of the axle. What I am working towards is to install Gen2 of Mighty Max knuckles to allow running manual hubs.
If this works out this is going under my red gen 1 that the frame rusted away on.

I think I am going to give up on finding Pajero EVO body panels where I wanted to shorten a gen2 body and mount it over the gen 3 suspension. Complex, yes but how I like things.
I think I will go with a simpler build and put the gen3 suspension under the old SWB gen1. It will be V6 power with the Toyota 6 speed swap that I built many years back but never got to installing.

 Nice! let me know on the Mighty Max knuckle install I'd love manual hubs. Great minds think alike, I've been wanting to do a IFS/IRS Gen 1 shorty for a while. Never seem to have the money when the donors pop up cheap. Stoked to see how the project goes and hopefully things get better on your end dude, good hearing from you.

I'm assuming this is "OLDCOLT" (I may have the handle slightly wrong) from the wire? Hope things are looking up buddy. The fact that you're here and posting seems like a step in the right direction?

Also curious what is needed to make a gen 1 IRS? What type of donor we looking for

A Gen 3 would be the donor. I'd swap front and rear subframes completely, including steering rack conversion.
