TWENNY SIX DOLLHAIRS for a washer?!?!?!?

It's for six of them!  ;D

Alternate options would be to rob 'em from junkyard Sports,  or to measure your axle and the clearance around it and then head to a well stocked fastener house (McFadden, etc) and dig around,  probably end up spending more like $1.50/ea on shims like that.

I like the junkyard Sport option.  Need to check inventory, still need to rob one of its pigtails so i can get my JDM fresh on.

I do have to go to Fastenal anyways, maybe they'll have a thing.

Just got an update text about this. Yikes! His ball joint bolts worked loose.
The ole didn't use loctite trick eh? JK I always check my balljoint bolts when I have the wheels off (which seems to be often...) even though I loctited them and torqued them. Dunno just seems like such a high vibration area that takes a lot of beating. Glad an actual cause was found, although I've got brakes and wheel bearings coming up weekend after next and will hold dear Toasts words about the torques on the wheel bearings.

To be fair i don't know if OP's issues have been fixed.  Or if mine have for sure, but Josh is referring to me actually finding some issues, finally.  Maybe light at end of the tunnel?

All good with me if it's all good with OP.  I hijack from time to time.  If nothing else he's got more stuff to check, now.  :P

The small washers are there to adjust the end play of the axle - there is a spec for the end play in the FSM, and you'll need to adjust the thickness of the washers to get that spec correct.

If there's too much end play, could result in noise, yes?

I snagged 5-6 washers (and nicer snap rings) off two Sports yesterday.  I will install today, though i'm already a bit dubious... i seem to have a bit more play than either Sport did on equal footing, no washers on either truck.  I am almost wondering if i'm missing something on the backside at this point.

I have a single brass washer, i think i talked to you on the phone about it, it's the one that has grooves on one side or something?

I'll text you.  :)
