This is exactly the response I was hoping for! Excellent news. My buddy with the delica was also talking to them, last year, when we decided to work towards this. Even then they seemed excited.

I do have a passenger seat available. But it's on the left. LOL. The Canadian Crew will be finalizing things soon. Hopefully that aforementioned pajevo will be back together soon too.  :-[

So rad that Mitsubishi reached out to you dudes. Super bummed I won't be able to make the trek out.

I really wish I could go...this would be awesome to see. Shoot...it would be awesome to see Mitsubishi show interest in the Galant community also.

My Montero wouldn't be ready anyways...or would cut it close, but I don't want to rush doing the maintenance on it.

This is awesome news anyways seeing Mitsubishi showing interest to its owners of their product, makes me love the brand more! ;D

There are a couple of first-come group campgrounds in the Cleveland National Forest if we decide to do the Saddleback Mountain trails I recommended - see Falcon and Blue Jay:

This is such good stuff fellas. There are some of you I've wanted to meet for years, as far back as the year 2000 in some cases when 4x4wire was in its infancy... This is going to be surreal.

I'll see you fellers at big bear on the 6th. Is anyone sufficiently familiar with the place to predetermine a camp spot, or are we meeting up to play it by ear. Either way is cool just thinking I might try to get there on the 5th.

And I like the idea of swag for the "most" vehicles. Especially if it is broken down by generations.  8) 8)

sadly, all my purchases were prior to swag availability. and there's nothing else they offer to fit a gen 1. - i've already got it all. just figured i'd give them a reason to throw some my way instead of bugging them for free stuff after the fact.

A little late the the party here but I should be getting the heads put in in a week or two so I'm expecting to be at MOD'17 as well.

What time are you all showing up?

I recall from earlier trips we need to get there a little early so we can snag a good spot especially if we all want to be in the same area.

Can't wait!

Shaping up to be quite the gathering for Cypress MOD. Hope I'm not the only Mitsu Van in attendance.
